What are the qualifications to become a member?

The primary qualification is that you consider yourself to have gender identity issues in one form or another. First, contact a "New Member" facilitator by e-mail. Contact information appears HERE.

The interview will be informal and efforts will be taken to make it as non-intimidating as is possible. Several new members of recent times have reported that their interviews were most definitely a wonderful experience and a huge relief for them ... especially for those who are beginning their journey.

The interview is a brief and informal meeting between you and one or two of our officers or senior members. We want you to be as comfortable as possible, and we'll arrange this at your convenience.

RCGA also welcomes individuals who support transgender acceptance. These individuals are considered Ally Members and they must go through the same application process required of any other member.
