Hello!
Founded in 1986, River City Gender Alliance (RCGA) is an Omaha based all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides peer support, friendship and understanding for transgender, gender non-conforming individuals and their families. Monthly support meetings, social outings and community involvement are integral.
Incorporated as a Nebraska nonprofit in 2014, RCGA also seeks to further transgender acceptance through education, research support, community outreach and social/legal advocacy to improve the lives of transgender and gender-diverse people locally and nationwide.
Our members include people from all across the gender spectrum and from not only all across Nebraska, Iowa, NW Missouri, SE South Dakota, Northern Kansas, and the Omaha/Council Bluffs/Lincoln metro area, but the United States as well.
RCGA does not discriminate against anyone based on race, color, sex, religion, non-religious spirituality, national origin, age, disability, gender, gender identity and sexual orientation. Notably, River City Gender Alliance fully embraces equality, diversity, and inclusion to make our community one!
