Are spouses, significant others, and partners eligible to join?

Yes, most definitely! This includes same-sex partners, nontraditional partners, and TG-TG couples.

In addition to River City Gender Alliance's traditional Facebook public cause page and private secret page for members, RCGA also offers a FB public page Midwest Alliance of Transgender Spouses (MATS).

MATS is a support group for spouses, partners, family and friends of transgender individuals. We offer hope and information for the advocacy of our transgender loved ones.

The support team for MATS (pronounced 'mates') is here to help you through your transition with this life changing event. We've been there or are going through the same situations you are.
